The Rode NT2000 is the world’s first fully variable control condenser microphone, with polar pattern, high-pass filter and pad all continuously variable from controls located on the body of the microphone. Combining an externally polarised 1″ dual diaphragm with active electronics, the NT 2000 is voiced for modern recording techniques while still evoking the silky smooth character of the legendary microphones of the 50s and 60s.
