The Shure AP56DM Drum Mount is designed to attach a PGA56 microphone directly to a drum rim without the need of a mic stand. It also fits a number of other similar drum mics also.

This is ideal for close-miking of snares and toms in both live sound reinforcement and studio recording applications.
