The Warm Audio Sound Techniques Jude Microphone Preamp is a faithful recreation of a legendary British console preamp for studios seeking authentic analog character. Created in collaboration with Sound Techniques it features the original A-Range preamp circuit designed by Geoff Frost for Londons Trident Studios. The complete signal path is retained including the dual-discrete 3035 Class-A amplifier and original Z-Match impedance circuit giving you the depth punch and musical response associated with countless classic recordings. The nine-position Z-Match control lets you adjust the interaction between the preamp and your microphone helping unlock different tonal colours from vintage and modern models alike. Hand-wired construction premium Wima and Nichicon components and custom CineMag transformers maintain the original design philosophy while practical features including phantom power polarity switching and line-level operation make Jude easy to integrate into modern recording setups.
