The Warm Audio Sound Techniques Stereo Jude Microphone Preamp is a dual-channel studio preamp for engineers recording stereo sources with authentic vintage console character. Created through an official collaboration between Warm Audio and Sound Techniques it features the original A-Range console microphone preamp circuit used in the first custom consoles at Londons legendary Trident Studios. Designed from Geoff Frosts original schematics it preserves the complete signal path with dual-discrete 3035 Class-A amplifiers original Z-Match impedance circuits custom CineMag transformers and carefully selected premium components. Its stereo design makes it well suited to drum overheads piano acoustic instruments and stereo microphone techniques where consistent performance across both channels matters. The nine-position Z-Match impedance control lets you adjust the interaction between microphone and preamp helping you shape gain response and tonal character with a wide range of vintage and modern microphones. Combined with hand-wired construction and practical studio features including phantom power polarity switching line-level operation and clear VU metering; Stereo Jude delivers the genuine Sound Techniques console experience in a modern rackmount format.
