Description
The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter Mini CL-25 is a compact gain booster suited to recording broadcasting podcasting and live sound. Providing up to +25dB of clean gain it increases the sensitivity of passive dynamic ribbon and tube microphones before their signal reaches your preamp. The Cloudlifter Mini CL-25 keeps your preamp within a more comfortable gain range helping reduce noise unwanted colouration and frequency degradation while retaining more of your microphones natural sound. Patented Class-A discrete JFET circuitry provides two noise-cancelling gain stages without placing capacitors or resistors in the signal path. The CL-25 uses +48V phantom power but does not pass it to the connected microphone helping protect ribbon and tube models. Plus its compact steel chassis custom gold-plated Neutrik XLR connector system and hard-soldered wire-free internal construction make it ready for regular studio broadcast and stage use.
