Description

The Shure SLXD2+ Handheld Transmitter with Beta 87A K55 is built for professional wireless vocal setups requiring clear sound and flexible control. Its Beta 87A supercardioid condenser microphone combines with transparent 24-bit digital audio and over 118 dB of dynamic range for detailed vocal reproduction. A wide 138 MHz tuning range gives you greater flexibility when coordinating frequencies across different locations while Automatic Setup keeps linked SLX-D+ transmitters and receivers connected despite RF interference. ShowLink Ease also lets you adjust key transmitter settings remotely from a compatible receiver — useful when the transmitter is already with the performer. You can change frequency and power output lock controls and update firmware without handling the transmitter directly. Rugged metal construction makes it ready for regular use while AA or optional SB903 rechargeable batteries provide up to eight hours of operation.

Microphones

Microphones convert acoustic sound into an electrical signal for recording, live sound, broadcast, streaming or measurement. This broad category includes dynamic, condenser, ribbon, USB, wireless, boundary, shotgun and instrument-focused designs, each balancing sensitivity, detail, rejection and handling. Compare the source, room, pickup pattern, maximum level, connector, phantom or battery requirements and mounting options before choosing. The most useful microphone is the one that fits the voice or instrument, working distance and signal chain; a prestigious brand or familiar category label cannot replace those practical checks.
