Designed specifically for interviews and broadcasting purposes the MMD 42-1 is a sturdy reliable microphone head that really shines under challenging circumstances. With an omnidirectional pick-up pattern the 42-1 will pick up sound from all directions meaning you dont need to point the head directly at your interview partner for it to reproduce their voice clearly. Using the MMD 42-1 your transmitter will become a hardy wireless version of Sennheisers well-renowned MD 42. The MMD 42-1 also boasts a special design that minimises wind and handling noise. As a result the MMD 42-1 is well-suited to outdoor use too. This capsule will provide only the sound you want with an even well-rounded response that stays the same on-axis and off-axis.
