One of Shure's most iconic microphones is no doubt the SM58. Regarded as the ultimate live vocal mic, it has been used by some of the best known musicians in the world. The SM58 has come in many different versions over the years, and the PGA 58 is the Alta take on this seminal classic.
The PGA 58 is a fantastic mic for both lead singers and backing vocalists. It's super durable, has an included on/off switch, as well as a built-in pop shield. The pop shield doesn't only deaden the plosives which are inherent in vocals. It also protects the precious electronics inside the mic from the water vapour that's found in your breath as you sing; this results in a longer product life, all without issues!
This version comes with an XLR cable and boom stand included, as well as a a mic clip, zipper pouch and user guide.
