The Slate Digital ML-1 Solid-State Modeling Microphone is a large-diaphragm FET studio microphone that can replicate the sound of an entire mic locker with eight models in total spanning everything from legendary tube microphones to modern-day 57-style classics. Used alongside the included VMS software (Virtual Microphone System) you can select your chosen microphone model and the software will replicate its tone and style in real-time whilst you record (low-latency audio interface required). It also comes complete with a shock mount and a flight case. The ML-1 is designed to provide an exceptionally linear response without distortion so it can serve as a clean slate for your recordings. At the core of the ML-1 is a 6-micron gold-sputtered capsule which provides an ultra-wide frequency response capturing every nuance of your sound source. Whether youre recording vocals guitar cabs or anything else the Slate Digital ML-1 will give you pristine detailed sound that you can then customize with the included microphone modelling software.
