The Audio Technica ATM230 Drum Microphone 3 Pack is New Delivered to all areas of the UK using our roadie delivery service.

The compact ATM230 Artist Series instrument microphone is specially designed for use with drums. The mic’s proprietary capsule excels in high SPL applications, delivering full, well-rounded audio with an exceptional low-end. The hypercardioid polar pattern keeps the focus on the sound source, directionality that is aided by the mic’s low-profile design, which allows it to be placed in a wide variety of setups. All this makes the ATM230 ideally suited for miking toms, snare and other percussion instruments.

Key Features:

  • Metal Construction:
Perfect for it’s suited use of recording drums, we don’t advice hitting your microphone, but it stands a good chance against a drummer in full swim.
  • Hypercardioid Polar Pattern:
Drums are one of the hardest instruments to capture nicely, this is due to the overspill from other elements all competing for the sonic space. A hypercardioid polar pattern allows you to focus on what you want to record and minimise spill from other sources.
  • Included Case:
Who doesn’t like a good case? Keep all your components together between shows or sessions.
