Description

The Shure SLXD15P-85M-K55 is a portable digital wireless system designed to deliver broadcast-ready audio wherever your shoot takes you. Pairing the compact SLXD5+ portable receiver with the SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter and low-profile WL185M cardioid lavalier microphone, it gives videographers, ENG crews and location sound recordists a robust, easy-to-manage solution for clean, reliable dialogue capture on the move.
With transparent 24-bit digital audio, wide 138 MHz tuning and Shure’s ShowLink Ease control link, the SLXD15+ system is built to stay locked on and sounding pristine, even in crowded RF environments. Dual mini-jack outputs, long battery life and rugged metal construction make it equally at home on a camera cold shoe or in an audio bag, giving you the flexibility and control you need on set.

Portable Wireless Built For Location Work
The SLXD15+ system has been purpose-built for field production, with a compact SLXD5+ receiver that mounts neatly on a camera or drops into a bag without adding bulk. The SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter is lightweight and unobtrusive, so talent can move naturally while you capture consistent audio. Together they form a streamlined, cable-free rig that keeps your setup tidy and your workflow fast, whether you are shooting run-and-gun news, documentary interviews or corporate content.

Broadcast-Quality Digital Audio
Delivering 24-bit digital audio with more than 118 dB of dynamic range, the SLXD15+ captures every nuance of the WL185M lavalier microphone with clarity and detail. The cardioid pickup pattern of the WL185M helps focus on the speaker’s voice while reducing ambient noise, making it ideal for interviews and dialogue in real-world locations. The result is a clean, intelligible signal that drops straight into your edit with minimal need for corrective processing.

Wide Tuning And Rock-Solid RF
With a 138 MHz wide-tuning range, the SLXD15+ system offers excellent flexibility when working across different regions and venues. You can run up to 11 simultaneous systems in 6 MHz TV bands, or up to 14 in 8 MHz TV bands, making it suitable for multi-talent shoots and more complex productions. Automatic setup and scanning help you quickly find clear frequencies, while the system maintains a stable link even as RF conditions change.

Smart Control With ShowLink Ease
ShowLink Ease gives you powerful remote control over your transmitter directly from the linked SLXD5+ receiver. You can adjust transmitter frequency, change RF power output, lock or unlock controls and even handle firmware updates over the air. Multi-Mic Mode lets you scan and sync multiple clean frequencies via IR and monitor several sources from a single receiver, streamlining your workflow when working with multiple wireless channels.

Flexible Connectivity And Monitoring
The SLXD5+ receiver features dual 3.5 mm outputs, including a dedicated headphone monitor out and a switchable line or mic level output for feeding your camera or recorder. This lets you monitor directly from the receiver while sending an optimised signal to your recording device. Integration with Shure Wireless Workbench software and the WWB Mobile app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth allows deeper monitoring and control of RF status and system parameters when required.

Secure, Reliable And Ready For Long Days
Patented Shure Digital Feedback Reducer is embedded in every SLX-D+ receiver, helping to automatically tame unwanted feedback if it occurs. AES-256 encryption is installed on all components, providing secure transmission for sensitive productions. Power is handled by either the included AA batteries or optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeables, delivering up to 8 hours of use from the SLXD1+ transmitter and up to 5.5 hours from the SLXD5+ receiver, so you can comfortably cover long shooting days.
