The AKG MPA-VL is a phantom power adaptor for the L type MicroMic microphone series. It presents a male XLR connector at the output and has an integrated switchable bass roll-off filter.

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs. Within two years AKG produced their first pair of headphones, which were quickly followed by other innovative products such as the worlds first high quality condenser microphone.
