ALL THE MICROPHONES YOU NEED

Behringer designed the BC1200 bundle to provide you with the best mics to render your drums both in a recording studio and on stage.

The KM1200 is specially designed for your kick drum. Mount it on a short stand and place it inside the kick drum opening. Aim at the beater to capture more attack or towards the edge of the drum for a more resonant tone.

The 4 TM1200 medium diaphragm condenser mics work wonders with toms and snares. Set them up with clamps and attach them onto the hoop of your snare or tom. You can adjust the distance from the drumhead. For best results point them to the centre of the drumhead.

The 2 CM1200 are tuned to capture your ride, hat and crash cymbals. Mount the mics onto a pair of tripod boom stands and position them to get the desired delicate/silky highs. Each mic should be positioned about 1 m (3 ft) above a ride cymbal and hi-hat, pointing directly down. You can also have both mics positioned directly above the snare drum in an “XY” pattern, with capsule ends nearly touching, one pointing at the ride cymbal and the other at the hi-hat. These mics require phantom V48 power to function.
