Description

The Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1 Channel Interview Microphone is a compact, all-in-one solution for creators, journalists and videographers who need reliable, broadcast-ready sound on the move. Combining a 2-channel 2.4 GHz receiver with a pre-paired clip-on transmitter, 32-bit float recording and smart safety features, it lets you capture clear, confident audio straight into your camera, laptop or phone without complicated setup.
Engineered in Germany and built around Sennheiser’s renowned sound quality, this system is designed to keep your focus on the story, not the settings. With internal recording, safety channel options and automatic backup modes, it protects your audio even in unpredictable environments, making it ideal for interviews, run-and-gun content, vlogging and live social media work.

Effortless, Reliable Wireless for Creators
The Profile Wireless 1 Channel set is built to be as straightforward as possible. The clip-on microphone transmitter comes pre-paired to the receiver, so it connects automatically with no configuration or app required. Low latency and a stable 2.4 GHz connection keep dialogue in sync with your video, while the compact receiver mounts neatly to your camera or rig using the included cold shoe adaptor and threaded sockets.

32-bit Float Recording and Safety Modes
With 32-bit float recording on board, the system captures an extremely wide dynamic range, giving you far more headroom and the ability to recover clipped audio in post. Safety Channel Mode on the receiver outputs your main level on the left channel and a lower-level backup on the right, helping to guard against sudden peaks. You can also activate Backup Recording Mode on the transmitter so that internal recording automatically starts if the wireless signal weakens or drops.

Flexible Connectivity for Camera, Computer or Phone
The Profile Wireless 1 Channel system includes everything you need to plug into a wide range of devices. Digital output over USB-C lets you connect directly to compatible computers and phones, while the included USB-C and Lightning connectors make it easy to integrate with modern mobile setups. A dedicated headphone output on the receiver allows convenient monitoring of your audio on location.

Expandable, Portable and Ready to Travel
This 1-channel set gives you a complete, portable recording solution in a single pouch, including the clip-on microphone, mounting hardware and cables. When you are ready to expand, you can easily upgrade to a full 2-channel system by adding an extra Profile Wireless clip-on transmitter and charging bar, each available separately. With up to 7 hours of battery life and 16 GB of internal memory in the clip-on mic for up to 30 hours of recording, it is well suited to long shooting days and travel-heavy schedules.
