Live Microphones
A live microphone is a microphone designed for use in real-time sound amplification during events like concerts, public speaking, or theatre performances. These microphones are built for durability to withstand the physical demands of live events, often featuring cardioid or supercardioid patterns to reject unwanted noise from the sides or rear. They are typically used to capture clear and focused sound, ensuring high-quality audio for both the performer and the audience, and are chosen based on their ability to handle varying sound levels and environmental conditions.
Microphone
A microphone is a device that captures sound and converts it into an electrical signal. It works by using a diaphragm that vibrates in response to sound waves, which are then translated into electrical impulses. Microphones are used in a wide range of applications, from recording music and broadcasting to public speaking and live performances. They come in various types, including dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones, each suited for different recording environments and sound qualities.

Sorry, it looks like at the moment we don’t have any of these left. They might be back in soon. Please read for more details with latest delivery dates.
Supercardioid
A supercardioid microphone has a highly directional pickup pattern, similar to the cardioid microphone, but with an even narrower focus. It is most sensitive to sound coming from the front, but also has a small area of sensitivity at the rear. This makes it ideal for isolating sound sources while rejecting noise from the sides and some noise from the rear. The supercardioid pattern offers a more focused sound capture than a standard cardioid microphone, making it particularly useful in live sound environments or recording situations where high isolation of the primary sound source is needed. However, because of its rear sensitivity, it may require more careful positioning to avoid capturing unwanted background noise.
